We had a nice trip back to KY. It has been impossible to explain to
family and friends just how much we learned in four days of classes. Your
patience with your teaching is remarkable. I was your oldest student and
have done wedding cakes for over thirty years, but was certainly pulled out
of my comfort zone. I not only learned new designs but also better ways
of doing more familiar techniques.
We all felt so comfortable in your home with you and your family. The
delicious meals that Dannie and D'lene prepared were great. I appreciated
the fact that my husband was included in all of your hospitality.
He enjoyed his four days and felt so welcome in the kitchen talking to Dannie
and just being a part of the learning experience. My daughter is coming
soon and bringing her DVD's of the four-day class so we can enjoy them together.
They will be invaluable for continued reference since it is impossible to remember
every detail of such an intense course. Thank you for sharing
your knowledge of the sugar arts. I will never look at cake decorating
the same again.

I just wanted to thank you again for you and your families wonderful hospitality.
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in Texas and the
time at your home. Like I told you, I felt I had my monies worth just after
Monday. You have mastered your skill and techniques of teaching and helped me
make it happen without too much stress. Honestly, I think I was most impressed
about you sharing and giving us your knowledge without even thinking twice.
You made me feel so good about being the "most" novice and that I
could do it. Even though my cakes were crushed on the plane :-( my flower arrangement
made it home perfect. I think I told and showed everyone on the plane just how
wonderful you were are as a teacher and a person!
If you decide to have a different class such as cascading, morebutter creams
designs, cascading, other flowers, cascading and
fondant... I'll be there for sure.
Thanks again.

Earlene, I would say that the class was great. It was a lot of fun and
you covered so many different things. It really taught me a lot of the
little tips that you are only going to learn from years of practice and
expertise. Thank you for sharing your talents and tips. I met some
really nice people as well.
Thank you again.

I wanted to thank you for such a wonderful time in April. The class
was great and an experience that I will never forget. You are such a wonderful,
talented person with a delightful family; I am happy to have spent
time with you all. I feel I learned so much, and I will take those
experiences with me throughout my decorating. THANKS so much.
I Hope to see you soon.

Earlene,
Thanks! By the way, we have been meaning to email you and tell you how much
we enjoyed your class. We could not get over the amount of information that
we took in during those intense 4 days. Our confidence level has soared since
we have come home. Now, when brides bring in photos or ideas for cakes, we feel
confident in saying "Sure, we can do that!" Not only did
you provide a wealth of new techniques, you also opened up a whole new world
of products for us to use. Here in SW Kansas, Wilton is all you can find. It
was so great to find some other lines from which to choose. I know brides in
your area are certainly disappointed to see that you are no longer accepting
orders, but, rest assured, your legacy will continue in the students you
have instructed and encouraged through the years (and the years to come!) We
can't thank you enough!

I will never forget the 4 days I spent with Earlene and her family. They were
all very receptive of us. They all showered us with warm hospitality. I
feel very blest to have been able to be there and learn so much. Earlene has
a way of teaching to where you think "why hadn't I tho't of that!"
It was very simple and easy to understand. I walked away so very glad
for all the 40+ yrs. of knowledge she shared with us. It was a lot of fun, very
exhausting and worth every penny. After the 2nd day I said if I wouldn't learn
anything more it would have already been well worth it. Thank you again
for opening your heart and your home to all of us. Thanks to Danny and D'Lene
(and her great dessert) for the wonderful lunches they provided each day.

If you want to have a good time, meet new friends, AND learn dynamite cake
techniques, take one of Earlene's classes!! Her practical, common sense
methods and techniques can turn an ordinary cake into extraordinary! Earlene
is a great talent in the cake decorating world, and in her classes she demonstrates
it by her patience, her caring and sharing attitude. It was hard work
sure enough, but it was soooo much fun, and you learn so much in her classes.
You have to come with a good attitude in order to benefit. (Earlene, don't
be surprised if I show up at another one of your upcoming classes, and if Robert
comes with me, Mr. Moore can put him to work! ~ smile ~) I enjoyed it,
and I know you will too.

11/14/03 Hi Earlene,
I thought it was about time for me to take a few minutes
and let you know how much I have gained from taking the 3 day-3 way class in
your home last Oct. I gained so much confidence from you, that now I take
on all the request I get no matter how big the challenge, I just stay calm
and don't have too much trouble. I raised all my prices $1.00 to $2.00
and not one customer said anything and I am still turning down orders.
My business has tripled this year including weddings. I have had at least
one wedding every month except Jan. Also April, May and June I did two
a week. I have really been busy. I have more than paid for everything including
the airfare.
I got a double bonus by taking the class in your home as I saw how organized
you had everything, I can stay home and have really kept my husband busy making
shelves and adding cabinets I can't believe how much room I found.
Earlene this one will make you laugh, last week I woke up
in the middle of a dream, I was having trouble doing a castle cake
and you were telling me it was only cake so calm down. ha. ha.
I love your new online order. I haven't had time to check it all out
but looks great. I will be ordering from you.
Again thanks for all the confidence and all the hospitality you and your
family gave us.
Tell D'Lene I still remember her great dessert.

It was like trying to take a drink from a fire hydrant, but
I certainly learned a lot?

You know the feeling you get when you've met somebody for the first time and feel like you've known them a lifetime? The minute you walked into the door as a student you knew that you were leaving as part of the family...This is what I experienced as a student in Earlene's 3 way -3 day class held at her home, fall 2003. Earlene is an expert instructor. She not only exposed this class to various techniques, she gave step by step instructions, supplied all equipment, and shared "tricks of the trade" on any topic we chose, but she provided a completely warm and nurturing learning environment. Every level of decorator was challenged. With meals provided and friendships developed among the students, we all enjoyed each day so much we that stayed much later than scheduled. I recommend this class to any decorator, no matter what the skill level...but beware you may not want to leave!

Earlene, thank you again for such a wonderful time! Your hospitality was
out of this world! Earlene showed us her simple techniques for elaborate
cake designs. Earlene's class has given me the confidence to take on any
cake design. I would recommend the class to any experienced or inexperienced
cake decorator. Earlene has unique and wonderful ideas! I can not
wait for Earlene's next class, hopefully in gumpaste orchids and 3D cakes?!
Thank you and your family for having me! Blessings, Susan Howell

Just a quick note of thanks for coming to TN to teach our class this week.I
looked forward to it for a long time and was certainly NOT disappointed! It
was everything and more than I thought. I know I have a LOT of work to do to
perfect everything in my cake decorating, but it's something I really want to
do.
Last night my husband and I watched "The Rookie" (a true story about
an older guy trying to get into pro baseball). I'm not a sports fan, but the
story of encouragement, support of loved ones, following your dreams, etc.was
so touching! It really made me realize how much I want to get a good business
going in an area that I truly love. If you haven't seen the movie yet, I'm sure
you and your entire family would enjoy it (it's perfect for ALL ages)!
Thank you again for the sacrifices you're making to help so many people in your
travels. Your willingness to share your talents is very inspiring. Shirley

"Would highly recommend Earlene's three-way classes. Her instructions
were complete and easy to follow and she is so knowledgeable in the field of
cake decorating that there is much to be gained by sitting in on her classes."

"I had the pleasure of hosting Earlene Moore for her 3 Days, 3 Ways class.
Hosting the class was work, but the company and knowledge was priceless. You
have never enjoyed making a cake until you have had Earlene Moore in your living
room to run to and ask questions during the entire process. It was like a good
episode of the Twilight Zone. The class curriculum was wonderful and I have
amazed many clients with the techniques taught in those packedthree days. Thank
you Earlene for allowing me the opportunity to get to know you and for sharing
your wonderful knowledge and talent."

I JUST WANTED TO LET YOU KNOW I HAD A GREAT TIME IN YOUR CLASS OCT 17-19. I
LOVED THAT YOU CONSTANTLY KEPT US BUSY AND REALLY MADE US FEEL AT HOME. THANK
YOU FOR SHARING SO MUCH WITH US.

I'm anxious to try the techniques you taught us in class. Virginia and I talked
all the way home about how much we learned in such a short time. It was a very
enjoyable time from the time we left home until the time we returned. Thanks
so much for sharing your knowledge and for all the extras that you, Danny and
D'Lene gave. I truly had a sweet time.

I found the 3 day 3 way classes fall 2002 with Earlene to be nothing short
of inspirational. I felt encouraged, challenged, and successful at the end of
each day. And exhausted...make no mistake about it, it was hard work but the
environment was so full of positive learning that it made the days zip by. Earlene
truly opened her home, her skills, her generosity to all in attendance and I
felt welcomed by her entire family. I would encourage anyone to take this class
as you will walk away with such a sense of accomplishment and confidence that
none can place a price tag on your work from this point on! Except you, that
is!

As I told you, you are my American Sweet Idol! Everything you do seems easy and ordinary to you, but it is art, good sweet art. Thank you for your patience and understanding. I hope to keep in touch with you. You won't get rid of me that easy...ha,ha,ha... I will never forget my three days with the best teacher ever.
Those comments came from my heart. I am the one who can never repay you the
joy of sharing the three most exhausting but fun sweet days in my life.(ha,
ha, ha...). But as I said, and maybe this will be a good item for you to have
under your products. I am wearing now the T-shirt that says, " I survived
the 3 days 3ways,(ha, ha, ha...). Now seriously, I have learned so much in those
classes, that every time I am asked to do a cake I remember you and the easy
way to do it. Those dot mats are a most have in every bakers kitchen.
