Karla's Family



Walt works for the Excel Meat Packing Plant in Fort Morgan. He does the maintenance planning and scheduling for the plant. . Walt and Karla are both active in their church. With his jobs and all the home "honey do's" he doesn't have much time for hobbies. But, when opportunity arises he enjoys golf, hunting and fishing.

Karla and Walt Powell live in Fort Morgan, CO. with their three children Jase (14), Morgan (10) and Mackenzie (6).

Karla now works for a Chiropractor in Brush, CO.  She always seems to enjoy something in the medical field.

Jase (14) is setting records with his reading skills at their school.  The kids get points for every book read during the school year and Jase is an avid reader.  They go to a really small school "Prairire" where all of the kids are needed to make up a sports team.  Being 6 ft tall he really enjoys the basketball.

Morgan (10) also loves to read and does well in school.  She takes piano and just generally enjoys being a little girl.  Cheerful, happy and a joy to have around.

Mackenzie (6) is a happy go lucky little girl.  Always looking for mischief to get into around the next corner.  So much fun to be around with her toothless little smile.  She is very much a cuddly little child and her mom loves that.  Needless to say when I have opportunity I love it to.  Always happy, very good at entertaining herself and so sweet.

I am sure you can't tell we have very special grand children. :<)
