"Sweet Little Boxes"

Many of the decorators are being asked to do tiny little cakes for individual guests at wedding receptions. These little boxes will give you an alternative and can be made ahead of time for the guests. Add some mint flavoring for some very fancy mints indeed. I laid a quarter by these little boxes just so you would know a little more accurately the sizes of each of the boxes. All of the little boxes were then brushed with pearl dust and lemon extract to enhance the details.

Check www.firstimpressionsmolds.com for some similar silicone molds for the tops of the boxes.

A tiny butterfly mold was used for the two little butterflies and a hand made pearl for the handle. I filled this little box with heart mints cut from peppermint flavored gumpaste.

A bead border was piped with a number 2 tip and I plan on filling this little box with red hots.

Inside the box are small peppermint shells molded from the small shell molds

The CK 4 mm pearl maker was used for the pearls around the edge of the top and the bottom edges of this little box. A hand molded pearl from fondant for the top.
